Permanent magnets have to guarantee the safety and functionality as passive signal and function components over the entire lifetime, using the example of automobiles. However, even during the manufacturing process (installation of the magnets up to the final test of the automobile), the required functionality must be ensured to the extent that no intermediate tests are necessary (cost-benefit).
